Ice storms are devastating yet beautiful. Fortunately, we were on the edge of this one and only got a light coating. Colder weather and a light snow followed. The dogwood tree is in front of the house so I was aware of the transformation. The weather finally cooperated and I was able to get the shot.

Aspect ratio: almost all images shown are 3:2 (8×12, 12×18, 16×24 …), some are 4:5 (8×10, 16×20) – these will be ‘kept’ in these ratios (I will not crop a 8×12 image to an 8×10)

If 5×7 image is selected, a 3×2 image will be cropped to yield the image (there is a slight loss of length to the long dimension – a 3:2 aspect ratio would produce a 7.5”x5” image).

Things to consider – Where will the image be placed? What size image do you want? Will you have the print matted and framed? My preference is to forgo the framing, have the print mounted on styrene or gator board and hung on the wall (command strips ©, or equivalent). Clean lines, quicker and less expense. Interested? Just ask about mounting options. Or, for smaller prints, apply repositionable glue stick, such as Elmer’s©, to stick it directly onto the refrigerator, a cabinet or the wall.
